That is still yet to be looked at. If there is any new information I'll be sure to post it here as a reply, however, I'm fairly certain that Larsen and the rest of the team will be sticking to HBB while CompuCat works on HBAS for Wii.
We understand where you're coming from, however, we have underestimated how big of a task restoring the Wii Shop Channel actually was, considering that development was barely active, it seemed better at the time to just use HBB for the mean time.
I guess I say hi, so...
Hello! I’m CornierKhan1, I do things, what things? Wii things, Golang things. Revival stuff.
No knowledge? You can describe me that way.
Experience? Kind of.
Interest? You betcha.
See you around!
We’re currently planning a stream, which will contain a progress update about where we are up to.
For now, here are some older screenshots before we began working on SOAP. We’ve since redesigned the buttons to look better along with other enhancements.
We are still considering the idea of preserving WiiWare manuals as we are not sure if we can actually rehost them due to copyright infringement.
We're still keeping our hopes up for that though! ^_^
Wew, I remember original XBOX and playing GTA III. I used to always go through the menus cause they looked eerily cool.
Anyways, thank you for your interest! :ha:
We're not RiiConnect24 so we can't comment on behalf, but I'm sure they are glad to have you using their services! I too also enjoy viewing news and weather, and personally cannot wait for Nintendo Channel. :yaywii:
You know what would be cool? Converting your Wii Shop Channel into a more respectable Homebrew Browser.
I mean, seriously though, who doesn’t want to browse WSC and it’s cheerfully brainwashing music for Homebrew instead of WiiWare/Virtual Console? That’s where we guys come in.
We are a small...

If you can do this, I would be very grateful for it!
EDIT: Nevermind, I got my movable.sed, thanks so much!
I agree with TheMrIron and astronaut, the guide shouldn't be tainted the way it has been. I've just heard that it was NOT purchased with intentions to advertise RC24 at all. If this is true, then the state it is in is not acceptable, as far as the domain is owned by you guys, it is kinda a odd...
Merging services can help fix issues that both groups have, making it more beneficial for the users.
I don't know if I should involve OSC, but having people from DC24 and RC24 working on it so far has shown improvements.
@Wizardkoer I don't really see this as a hate post, but more of a point out towards security flaws that *may* have not been fixed if this post was not made, the comments on the other hand is just pointless arguing and bitching about wii-guide IMO.
If RC24 is interested in merged services, DM me...
