    It turns out they didn't after all. There never was a software fix by Nintendo. It was not. I simply fuzzed a particular register. It doesn't fix them because the register definitions changed. It is being looked into, but things are looking dire.

    Dolphin doesn't emulate SD cards in SPI mode, so it's impossible to test with it.     You can't use boot through IPL on a Wii without a /swiss/patches/ipl.bin on your SD card as the ROM just contains PRNG garbage.

    There's a special exception for this game where we'll always go through 576i/p first, otherwise it runs faster than NTSC in 60Hz mode.

    There's no disc needed. You have a black screen because your AVE-RVL configuration rejects 576p.
