It doesn't look like R4iDS.cn will update their Rev C Metroid cards... Just my luck since I went from Acekard to R4iDS.cn lol. Should've went straight for Supercard DSTWO, how are they for updates? I'm worried that as soon as I buy a Supercard, Nintendo will release an update rendering my card...
I have a revision C R4ids.cn card with Metroid Prime Hunters demo icon, when I try to run the latest update if I press B then nothing happens and if I press A then it says Fail. This happens on both my 3DS and DS Lite... This is my first time updating this card so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.
I ordered an R4i Gold from them on 21st October and they shipped it on the 22nd, the HK Mail website says it arrived in the UK on the 30th of October. I didn't pay for registered shipping so I'm not sure where it's at now but surely it shouldn't take this long to arrive?
Well in order to get a better connection for the plug I have to make sure I insert it only a certain distance so the hard drive actually spins... But once I do that it starts clicking and I have to tilt it to get it to spin properly, and then while USB Loader is starting the hard drive turns off...
My case can only be powered through USB and the cable is too short to connect to a different device. No biggie though it just seems like my hard drive is dying... I'll try putting in a new one and see if that works and if it does then it's just my hard drive at fault, not the case.
Thanks for the advice guys, I'll keep it in mind while looking for a new one. I managed to get my drive working again but in order to do that I had to tilt it for the disc to start spinning... Would you guys happen to know what could cause the hard drive to behave like that?
It's a 120GB WD hard drive that I took out from my old computer and used on my Wii. That list isn't too helpful, most of the links to the cases/enclosures there don't work and the ones that do are too expensive because they have features I don't need.
I have a 2.5" SATA hard drive inside a USB case hooked up to my Wii... It's one of those really cheap ones that uses up both slots to power the hard drive like this. Recently it's been having troubles getting the disc to spin and now when I plug it into my Wii the hard drive doesn't work at all...
Thanks guys, I guess I'll leave my hard drive on there since I don't have WiiConnect24 on (yellow light). I don't stand my Wii up because I don't have the space for it on my shelf lol.
I have a 4 year old Wii, recently started using a USB loader on it. I keep my Wii lying down and have the USB hard drive on top however after long periods of use the hard drive gets a bit warm and I'm worried it might damage the Wii. Do you guys know if it's OK to keep it on top? I use an old...
