My problem with real N64 is that it looks so bad even with a CRT. Like I bought an N64 last year and got an everdrive and it was so blurry and most of the library isn't great.
Ironically, with the MiSTer core, I can disable the stuff I hate but...
It's not. Like their Twitter is mostly memes and being rude to replies.
Which is a shame since some talented people have gotten on board to help like the guy that made the RetroTinks and the Gun4IR.
Really depends on your goal.
Like Mars is delayed (It was 2024 Q1) and who knows if it will serve what it's promised (Dreamcast, 3DO). Analogue's N64 may be worth it to people who love the N64 and have cartridges but if you only like a few...
Depends on how it was hacked.
Generally:
1. Restore boot1/boot0 using hekate - to reverse autorcm - assuming V1 and needs a dongle to power on
2. Remove SD card and keep it
3. Boot normally
4. Turn on wifi to free up the linked account...
For people out of the loop, this is hardware level emulation. The core aims to replicate the N64 on hardware level. It's aim is to be like the N64 in terms of output and performance with 0 latency (via SNAC connection to real controllers). If you...

Only reason to ever use Vitashell USB for backing up...
I got gifted a Pusheen gamer lamp:

Annoyingly, I haven't figured where to put it.
I also got the official AA joycon adapter (for collection only)
How can you tell if your gamepad is region changed? Like I thought region change -> initialize will region change it. Like it took a long time compared to same region on initializing the gamepad.
Any cons to region changing besides loss of...
Tiramisu is basically haxchi + coldboot haxchi.
It's better than the 2 due to:
1. Free
2. Faster to boot
3. No chance of bricking due to stupidity or bad luck (erasing the DS game, DS game got corrupted)
4. Can change Tiramisu to Aroma (mostly...
You can update but you will have to re-run haxchi manually and reinstall cold boot haxchi. That's what I did initially. I ended up just going to Tiramisu just because it's faster.
