It would be nice to have a Linux port of Sonic Mania so we can play it on Retropie. That way we'll have all the classic sonic games from Sonic The Hedgehog all the way to Sonic Mania on the retro gaming console through Raspberry Pi.
I already have SXOS, and want to have Atmosphere too. (Once I install Atmosphere, I choose what to load based on the payload I send, correct?)
Since I'm a newbie, a step-by-step would be nice
I've seen more than enough black screens caused by themes on the internet. I'm on OFW 11.0.0 and CFW 11.0.0 on SXOS 3.1.0 beta. What should I do to not brick anything? Other than updating while haven't deleted the themes folder, in what way are bricks from themes caused? Lastly, is there a...
When (un)docked, retroarch says that my cpu is at 1020mhz when left unchanged. I saw somewhere that 1581mhz is the stock for docked. So when I run retroarch while docked, and don't change the settings to 1581mhz, do I actually underclock it?
Sorry it took me so long to answer, it's just that I hadn't logged in for a while now. Tbh, I have no idea why I posted that... Maybe I was checking if everything was ok cause I'd rather not be him. I definitely don't have that problem.
SA and SA2 mostly (Maybe the Zeldas from N64 but I don't really think so). I don't know exactly if emulation needs to utilize a much better graphics card than the original's, but I doubt it. CPU is most likely to be in need of overclocking. SA and SA2 run fairly well. Overclocking while docked...
Will it cause fan issues or/and shorten the Switch's lifespan? I want to slightly overclock the CPU when playing 2-3 games on Retroarch.
Edit:
After reading another thread (https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-safe-is-overclocking-the-nintendo-switch.528385/), here's what I got:
The worst that can...
If i were you I'd avoid downgrading, since I'm too afraid of doing risky things that might brick my switch, and wait until SX releases a new boot.file. Otherwise, be extremely careful
I want to use the Status Monitor Overlay
Can i please have a guide for noobs? I want to check my switch's temperature. safely without risking bricking it...

I may try the new ram site, and download more RAM to my Switch. Not sure if ddr3 is the right ram
for it tho. Edit- no it uses floppy Ram, just like @AncientBoi
