PS Jailbreak - The first PS3 Modchip

I'd like to be a fool and pay for this chip, any chance for a coupon?? (I may be a fool, but I'd also like to get a deal, even a discount on shipping would help) Can anyone with one test if other PKG files can be installed from a USB key, like a demo from the PSN or full game (if you do a...

Hacking Clean DQIX works on DSTwo?

Just putting my experience here too, I also have a DSTWO and have had ZERO issues. I play using the clean version. I'm not sure if the DSTWO patches the game or not, there's no option that I've seen to enable/disable that. The usual church saves have never failed me, I've tried using the FREE...

    Gaming DQIX Gameplay Discussion

I'm not that far into the game (3rd city now) but I've read that there are some doors and chests that need a key, you'll get the key later in the game, I think some you'll need medals to get or NPCs will give them do you. But you will get them later, so you'll have to remember where the locked...

    Gaming DQIX Gameplay Discussion

I found this on another website and I thought it was very helpful: (taken directly from the site, it was quoted from Mr. Arcaeris) Again, NOT me who wrote this, just reposting. --- Some generally useful tips are that everyone should get 12 points in Monk/Fighter for tameru/BuildUp so they can...

Hacking Help!, Condensation on Top screen

Sorry for the late reply, just dump the whole thing in rice, get a large bowl (or bag) and fill it full of rice and bury your DS in it. Then the next day, take it out and the moisture should be gone. It works for any moist electronic device (celphones, remotes, keyboards...)

Hacking Help!, Condensation on Top screen

If you stick the device in some rice (un-cooked!), it should suck out all the moisture. Just leave it in the rice over night.

Hacking Firmware 1.55 Bricked My Card?

Well it semi bricked mine but don't panic. When I upgraded it only progressed a little on the progress bar then just sat there, so I turned it off and on. It would only get to the loading screen and no further. Depending on the damage done, put the update back onto your card, then hold down...

Hacking help with updating Japanese 3.3J wii, homebrew & backup loader ena

Hacking help with updating Japanese 3.3J wii, homebrew & backup loader ena

I modded two virgin Japanese Wii's which had 4.0J installed as well as a launch day US Wii. All setups work fine. I recommend that you follow any of the stickied guides. They will help to get your system up to date and still enjoy all the benefits that you have and more. ** Just where it...

Hacking Freshly modded, rev14 + hermes 222/223 not playing nice.

Well I got all excited and thought hey, I haven't tried that, to set the global cIOS to use 222, and having read in another thread the best combination for 222/223, alright, I'll just need this one combination and be set. I went and set the global setting to use 222 and restarted and now GX...

Hacking Freshly modded, rev14 + hermes 222/223 not playing nice.

Hello all, I'm back again to the boards with another personally stumping question. I've got another Japanese Black Wii (the first one was sold) and it's fully modded with just the bare essentials. I've got cIOS38 rev 14, and hermes 222(36)/223(37+36) I'm running Configurable USB loader and...

    Hacking Totally Stuck

This may or may not help you but it's worth a try. I think I was in a similiar situation and I followed Wiipower's advice. He said to try to use the TBR on all the IOS until one of them let's you install the patched IOS36. You just need to get one bugged IOS on your system. So load up TBR...

Hacking Black Jap Wii Converted to USA wii. Almost Perfect

Just a quick note on the Black Wii drive. I'm not sure if you've played any backed up games with it. The drive works fine, my Black Wii is now softmodded and can play all my backups on both DVD-R and DVD+R (I think I left the option to change book type when I burned the older ones... ). I still...

Hacking Black Jap Wii Converted to USA wii. Almost Perfect

congrats. Just a question. Instead of going down to 3.2, why not use the Wani's downgrader and go to 4.0U? then up to 4.1U. I haven't tried and so far you are the 3rd person I've read with a new batch of Jap Wii's that have 4.1U with little to no side effects. I'm so tempted. Again great job!

Nigeria's central bank did make crypto illegal before, until last year they lifted the ban. Always make sure to check before you exchange. ;)

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, speaking of crypto i remember reading about a guy who spend like 10 grand bitcoin on a couple pizzas (when bitcoin wasnt as worthy as nowadays)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's mental. If he had saved up when Bitcoin sky-rocketed in price, then he might've become the next Jeff Bezos for all I know.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, he couldnt know the price was gonna skyrocket anyway
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Then it dropped sometime in 2022, 2021 was when it really went up in price.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, I also recall watching a video of some failed games with their own crypto currency or smth like that, lemme link it to you (it's in spanish tho)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, I remember that. Didn't Steam ban games with NFTs before somehow devs managed to circumvent it? Think EA tried to dabble in NFTs too.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Glad to hear people realise that NFTs aren't worth it these days. They realise that they're JPEGs hosted on a file-hosting site like AWS or Google Drive.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Atleast it has captions
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Meta also tried to create their own crypto, but that fell through.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Was called Libra, they had around 100 employees and wanted to hire more near to end of the year.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, idk why facebook tried to do that metaverse thing if mmo games already existed before
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
And Yea I refuse to call it meta
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, I refuse to call it Meta, too. It's a stupid name.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, then why did you call it like that a minute ago?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
I don't get why Facebook ever wanted to dabble into virtual reality, when other companies were doing it.
