    My disc drive broke in like 2019 and only during lockdown did I learn about homebrew, and I don't own a single physical GC game to my name lol. TLDR: I never had some of the greatest nintendo games ever. so I think I'll be fine with nintendont.

    Its all working now! thanks a ton for the help guys! it is strange with those tmp files, I'm not sure what they are but I have them saved on another drive if needed for research or bug finding, thanks again!

    I removed the Temp folder and... the game finally shows up!!! and with all my save data, I'm going to remove the usb stick and see if that folder comes back.
