Hacking Best Way to Mod Any Wii: ModMii for Windows: Official Support Thread

Yeah, that's not a Chinese Wii, that's a Japanese console with a fan-made Chinese system menu. It'll play Japanese and Traditional Chinese discs.

Official Chinese Wiis were never released, but some fan translations of the system menu certainly do exist. What region discs does it run?

GCN How was Animal Crossing ported from Nintendo 64 to GameCube?

Hmm, that goes against the discussions I've had. I'll ask around and see if there's any more info. auto Seems like you were right and I was wrong, mostly.

GCN How was Animal Crossing ported from Nintendo 64 to GameCube?

From what I heard, it's essentially a highly customised emulator, and a slightly modified ROM. It's been a while since I read that though, so I might be completely wrong. Edit: This is wrong.

Rare gaming accessories you own. Good and bad ones.

I own a Multiplayer Box (共游盒) for the iQue Player. This was the best image you could find online of it on its own, until the website hosting it went down.

Hacking Japanese 3DS in English using CFW?

CTRTransfer into SysNAND is absolutely fine, but there may be cases where the user wishes to retain the orignal firmware, whether that's to be able to go back to it at any point, or any number of other regions. In this case it's up to OP to decide which to go for.

Hacking Japanese 3DS in English using CFW?

CTRTransferring to EmuNAND works perfectly (I've set up my 3DSes with literally every region using EmuNANDs), though actually performing the transfer is slightly more complicated than you might hope. Alternatively, you can use Luma's LayeredFS to replace the text data in system titles with...

Homebrew Switch Hacking & Homebrew Discussion

In order for a rogue Nintendo employee to get the private key, they would first have to practically become CEO of the company. The chance of the very top individual in a company like Nintendo going rogue is exactly 0. It would be very, very stupid of Nintendo to store the private key on a...

Homebrew Switch Hacking & Homebrew Discussion

In this case it really will never be possible. In order to download from the CDN, a legitimately-signed ticket is required, because the server now performs the same checks that were patched out on the console with CFW. We cannot create legitimately-signed tickets without Nintendo's private key...

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
