Well let me try to answer this myself, please correct me if I'm wrong By doing the waninkoko update to 4.1 I'd enable the trucha bug in IOS60, which is required if I want to run custom channels, for example a neogamma channel installation. By doing a nintendo update I'd miss this option since...- justanotherstalk

Hacking How to Backup my wii NAND??
How would one do if one had a bootmii/ios install, generally? Is the combination with preloader the easiest and safest way to get a restoreable nand backup for brick recovery? My concern is if I brick while getting preloader up, since the readme states there is a risk, I would be in deep serious...- justanotherstalk
