Ok, so I unpacked the .pak file, and tried to repack it as a patch. Since all the files are modifiers to the game, I didn't delete anything from the lista.txt (apart from the instructions 4.1 - 4.3 in your tutorial). Is this an error due to the UnrealPak,exe being a version mismatch?
So I downloaded a quick mod for the game and when I try to open it up in the 1check.cmd, it gives me this.
Edit:I'm also installing 4.19 right now. But the UE version needs to match the .pak version before I can unpak it right?
I was hoping you'd see this; you're very knowledgeable in Unreal Engine. You wouldn't happen to know what version of UE4 they used? I'm running 4.24 (definitely not what they used) but I was able to unpak and repak YOUR mod. However, it crashes on boot; so I must not be signing it correctly...
