I found it on AliExpress, ordered 2 and they arrived today.
They were probably the last ones in stock.
Unfortunately, 2 of them had good PSRAM.
The cartridges are pretty thick, so I expect the PSRAM to be under pressure constantly.
It...
@metroid maniac
I got SC Lite fw flashing to work properly now! Attached the improved build below. I set it so D-PAD toggles between regular and "Lite" mode. (must select it before hitting A or B).
The scfw boots up and doesn't hang on white...
Oh thanks for the passme advice, I found some information that pointed to that but couldn't test it due to my DS being dead. I will try it once it comes back to life.

Ok so about the SRAM and its 128KB capacity.
I chatted with Maniac...
Perfect! I was able to test this on my DS and it works without using those rare 2GB transflash cards. A great alternative to install SCFW without side loading the firmware & kernel manually.
Thanks for this, @moon_rabbit 😁
Also, I created a...

If it's inside, it could be a fungus.
Long hyphae are often seen, but there are many different types.
If you look closely and don't see mycelium, it's probably not fungus.
If someone stumbles upon this thread. Here is a link to someone's thread that made circuit board schematics for the DS and DS Lite

I can only say that...
Yes, that's fine.
Sometimes it doesn't work well in-circuit.
In most cases, it's recommended to remove the EEPROM with a hot air station and solder it to the board before using it.
You can also use SOP-8 sockets without soldering.

The GM9 will not dump properly because it only contains EEPROM information from commercial cartridges.
You will need to use a programmer like ch341a to dump it.
All you can see are the finely tuned traces and the unmounted pads.
It doesn't look like anything has changed, but all of the change could be under the DS cartridge slot.
I don't know when, but recent devkitpro has become strict about definitions and pointer types.
Many warnings have been changed to errors, so you can build after fixing them.
Currently SCFW doesn't have a database, so finding the savetype is the most time consuming thing.
With a database, like ez-flash and everdrive, it will definitely be faster.
This is a firmware update file that runs on SLOT-1 (DS, DS LITE).
If you don't have a micro SD of 2GB or less, you can use this file to update it.
Testing environment
I tried running it from ysmenu flashcart.
I expect it will probably run on...
