    Homebrew WIP GZDoom for Switch

    Vanilla and Bright turned out to be okay, thanks! Speaking of defaulting to, I can't get GZDoom to save or remember certain options. Anything in the "Gameplay Options" resets itself each time I restart the application. Mouselook, for example, always needs to be turned off again after each...

    Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

    Is there any information about what happened to the pc companion app called "starlink" that was in development sometime in 2021 by scires? I checked the Github but there's no code and no activity since 2021. Has this been abandoned completely? The ability to develop cheats using your computer...

    Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

    Question: I have an unpatched switch with ofw 9.1.0 and an emuMMC at fw 17. My game card reader firmware is not up to date and this is causing issues when booting emuMMC via hekate (the reader doesn't work). However when booting via fusee everything works fine including the reader. I don't...

    Homebrew WIP GZDoom for Switch

    This is the best thing to come to my switch this year. Thank you for the work you put into this port, I am having zero issues running my games. One minor issue is that the game is too dark overall for my taste, but once I play in docked mode on a TV it looks right. Sweet man, I'm looking...

    Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

    Is there a homebrew solution which allows for screen-recording, like what the switch already does, but more than 30 seconds at a time? I want to play a game and record my playthrough, and I don't want to be bothered to mess with a capture card if possible.

    Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

    Truly a head-slapper, why would the consumer want a piece of hardware with a known security flaw. Those people better hurry up and sell their security-compromised devices on, idk, ebay or something, and get something that's fixed instead. Much better for the consumer, and myself :rolleyes:

    Exactly what I was looking for, tysm. Technical enough to be interesting, but not too technical that I have no clue what I'm reading. Hits the sweet spot.

    Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

    Is there a fairly technical write-up available on how the Fusee Gelee exploit works? I am not necessarily interested in the source, but a high-level overview would be a great read. Surely there's got to be some severely underappreciated banger blog-posts by some reverse engineer / researcher on...

    Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

    Brilliant, that explains it. I made the mistake of popping my head into the first ~150 pages of this thread, to see how the project started and how it grew, and whew oh boy did the existence of Atmosphere bring out the trolls and salt miners. I am surprised to see how much negativity there was...

    Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

    What is "package3", and what does it do? I don't really have any problems, I'm just curious. Package3 gets used by tools such as IPS Patch Creator, I'm just trying to understand what it is used for (that would require patching).

    Hacking RELEASE Lockpick_RCM payload - Official Thread

    What are you suggesting, that I read the contents of the makefile, like I am some sort of programmer? Surely you must be jesting! In all seriousness, thanks for pointing me in that direction, it is all much clearer now ♥.

    Hacking RELEASE Lockpick_RCM payload - Official Thread

    Hey, thanks for the fast reply. Is there any practical purpose for Picklock_RCM_unc.bin? Could I chainload such an uncompressed payload from, say, hekate's payload launch menu? I was vaguely aware that there is a size limit for payloads injected via the RCM exploit, but I don't know if that...

    Hacking RELEASE Lockpick_RCM payload - Official Thread

    Maybe this is the place to ask, when I run 'make' on the code found within https://git.slx.lag.tf/Slluxx/Picklock_RCM with DevKitPro, I get two payloads, one called "Picklock_RCM.bin", and another called "Picklock_RCM_unc.bin", what's the difference besides the later being slightly larger in...

    Tutorial Hacking Homebrew How to create your own sigpatches.

    I admit I have little idea what I am doing, but was able to successfully create a set of patches for HOS FW 17 with my own keys (I usually download the patches from "that" site). If someone can humor me, what does "IPS" and "KIP" stand for? Is this still relevant for the latest version of...

    Homebrew TotK Unexplored - Easily view all the unexplored collectibles in your TotK savefile

    Thanks for this app, it's really cool. I am playing through TOTK again, and having to not alternate between phone / laptop and my switch all the time is really great. Thank you very much. I think it has been suggested before, but having the ability to pin individual landmarks / places of...

    @Xdqwerty, Nice. Which operating system are you installing?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, windows 10 and some linux distro like linux mint
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    dualbooth
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Speaking of which
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.

    This one lady... her son kept installing Kazaa... OK no problem the issue is he would download DBZ movies and they where amazing usually like 2-8KB in size lol can't remember how many times I had to format and reinstall windows over his stupidity. I even explained to him about file sizes multiple times...
