Gaming Top 10 games of 2008.

1.The World ends With You - one of the most creative rpgs ever 2. Disgaea DS - the best turn-based strategy game on the ds. Very deep with lots of "re-playability". 3. Final Fantasy Tactics A2 - just half a step below disgaea in this department 4. Soul Bubbles - best all-around game on the ds...

Gaming NDS & Wii Titles: 16th to 20th March 2009

GTA had better be as good as everyone thinks it's going to be, or else you might need to keep all sharp objects away from me! I don't think I could handle the disappointment...

Does anyone remember the ORIGINAL gbatemp?

Well, close to that time. I first started lurking around here as a guest in '03. I still remember the first time I discovered gbatemp. I was lying in a hospital bed recovering from my second surgery to fix a herniated disk in my back (soccer injury, or "football" for those outside the US). I...

Gaming NDS & Wii Titles: 16th to 20th March 2009

I think it would be hard to find a better 10 day span of DS releases than this one.

DS #3507: Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardry (Europe)

Animal Crossing could learn a thing or two from EF. I would imagine future AC releases would implement some of these elements. It definitely keeps things from getting old quick!

Gaming Need DS game suggestions for a 5 year old girl.

I have 3 girls. These are some of the games I would recommend: 1. All of the "Sims" games - My Sims Kingdom, Sim Animals, etc. 2. All the "Petz" games - Petz Cats, Petz Dogz, Petz Dolphins, etc. 3. She is probably just getting to the age of being into Pokemon, so any of the pokemon based...

Gaming Official GTA - China Town Wars anticipation thread

In the last 12 months, there has only been one other game that I was this curious about, and that was Guitar Hero:On Tour. If this GTA is as good as it seems to be,this will be great for the DS scene in general. It will show that you can produce big, deep, creative titles that most devs seem...

Hacking which is better acekard 2 or cyclods evolution

I've owned and used both an Acekard 2 and CycloDS Evo (as well as R4, DSLink, etc.) and imo Cyclo is best, hands down. Since I tried the Cyclo, I have never and will never go back to anything else.

Hacking Getting a ds and hopefully some "carts"

Save yourself some time and headaches, and get the following: 1. Cyclo DS Evolution - to run all you DS stuff 2. EZ 3 in 1 - for all your GBA games In my opinion, these are the 2 best options for gaming/homebrew on your DS. And the beauty is, they work wonderfully together. Now the Cyclo is...

DS #3466: Major League Baseball 2K9: Fantasy All Stars (USA)

I am very interested in playing this. The first one released in 2008 had some very creative, fun elements. They totally revamped traditional batting and pitching dynamics and utilized the touchscreen in unique ways. If they can tweak the gameplay and career levels, they might have a...

Gaming Wheres all the good games

Ok, here is what you need to play: The World Ends With You: Best, most imaginative rpg on the DS Moon: Great shooter. if you like metroid, you'll love moon. Soma Bringer: Awesome, slasher-type rpg in the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles family. It's a Japanese language game, but you can...

DS #2385: Daigasso! Band Brothers DX (Japan)

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. Yesterday was the first day since this game came out that I didn't at least play 1 song. And let me tell you, a day with DBBDX just isn't a day worth living!

    Which flashcard do you use?

Oh boy, get ready for a flamefest! Anyway, I use my Cyclo and EZ Flash 3in1. Together, they flawlessly handle everything I could possibly need.

DS #2385: Daigasso! Band Brothers DX (Japan)

I am in the midst of disaster and could really use some help. I had 3 of the 8mb save files for my Cyclo: #1 Had songs 1-100 #2 songs 101-200 #3 songs 201-221 Somehow, a short individual (who will remain nameless) in my house has managed to erase my save files while messing around with...

@K3Nv2, Exactly. Take note of the Switch, for example. Its underpowered compared to how older tech was capable of doing just about anything.

I think my favorite PS1 enhancement is sub pixel precision, helps get rid of some of those wobbly polygons lol

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Psionic Roshambo, By default, the polygons are filtered with differing to simulate depth, which doesn't make them clearer.
