Official MediCat USB - A Multiboot Linux USB for PC Repair

@Jayro Thanks for your great work. I want to be able to add your Medicat to my Easy2boot USB drive (Where I have other bootable .isos like Sterlec) etc. I have tried to convert your .bin file to a .iso , but so far no luck. Any advice?

    Hacking Edge 2.0 released

Yes , but if it were on 1.4.1 you would need to update the bootstrap 3 in a ds or ds lite.

    Hacking Edge 2.0 released

If your seeing the Sudoku icon , then your initial flash of the Iedge must have been with v2.0 boot strap (this is what I did) You will now have to use v3.0 in a DS/lite to force it to update , you will then see a new icon for the new rom they are using...

    Hacking Edge 2.0 released

Yes , you think they would have made it 100% clear that for updates you need a DS (not a DSI) , but I guess that would be way too simple.

    Hacking Edge 2.0 released

Yep, its crazy , its like a "chicken and Egg situation" as how can the DSI run the start app when it blocked? Thankfully the DS is not blocked and runs the updater fine..

    Hacking Edge 2.0 released

SOLVED , SOLVED SOLVED Use a DS lite to run the updater , then put the Iedge card in your DSI and all is working with f/w 1.4.1 Yipee!!

    Hacking Edge 2.0 released

Strange , as I thought Bootstap 3 was to fix the 1.4.1 blocking Thing is , I just dont see how bupdate.bin gets run , when the "old" bootstap is blocked? I presumed that bupdate.bin would auto run , but for some reason it is not..

Ok, here is my story for anyone interested.. 1) I wanted to go To 4.0 - So I installed preloader (Bootmii would only install to IOS) 2) Updated fine with Winie's updater - but then ran the ISO60 fixed wad so I could run stuff from SD 3) The got the "file system corrupt" errors that preloader...

    Hacking Nintendo Wii Serial No.

I have a LU540xxx , and although it is a later serial , I CAN install on Boot2 .I have another LU37 , which I CANNOT install on Boot2. So it looks like the serial number does not always indicate if BootMii can be installed on Boot 2

On the other hand there are those chandeliers with like 50 lightbulbs and that would be a bit expensive to replace with smart bulbs.

Anbernic's SP clone will be $60 and I think I'll buy it. Looks decent enough and it will stop me from drooling over every single new handheld that comes out.
