    Homebrew TWPatcher - DS(i) mode screen filters and patches

    Thanks @BETA215 ! I'll give it a try. But if that IS a newer version, then I have a possibly VERY stupid question... Why wasn't the link in OP updated? Also, Second question which is less about TWPatcher and more about widescreen compatibility as a whole: Using a randomizer patch for Pokemon...

    Homebrew TWPatcher - DS(i) mode screen filters and patches

    I don't, no... only for Hold X, Hold START/START+X and Hold SELECT. I got twpatch through the universal updater script. So maybe the script is pointed at an old version? I'll try and update twpatch manually and see if the option shows up. UPDATE: Manually installed the version from the link in...

    Homebrew TWPatcher - DS(i) mode screen filters and patches

    Yeah, I saw things about it being laggy. But what I really meant is I got the widescreen working. I still never got the "Hold Y and press B" or "GPU scale" thing to show up. I held Y and counted to 60 and nothing happened, then I pressed B while still holding Y and still nothing happened. I just...

    Homebrew TWPatcher - DS(i) mode screen filters and patches

    So, I'm trying this thing for the first time (to get Widescreen working with TwiLight Menu++) and following the steps on the wiki. But step 4 makes no sense to me. If I hold Y, nothing happens. If I hold Y while booting, I get a different menu but I still don't have a GPU scale test option...

    Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory announced for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch

    It's coming to Switch? Oh no, now everyone that wants Sora in Smash is going to lose their mind and I can no longer with a 100% certainty say that it's NOT going to happen...

    Poll: Your Game Boy Advance model of choice?

    I still have my see-through classic GBA (like the one pictured in the OP) and it is by far my favourite model. I never owned a SP myself but a friend of mine did and we switched quite often, but I never really liked how the square shape felt in my hands, it was uncomfortable to hold for a longer...

    Homebrew UPDATE: Regarding the recent 3DS banwave

    I agree. I still BUY most of my games, I only really pirate games that I'm not sure about if I like them. Basically, if here is no official demo I'll "demo" the games in the slightly less legal way. But if I do like the game I'll often still buy it at a later date.

    Homebrew UPDATE: Regarding the recent 3DS banwave

    So, just out of curiosity (and stupidity). How do I know if I'm banned or not?

    Homebrew I wanna Homebrew but scared of getting banned, should I be?

    @duffmmann Well, I only really play single player anyway. The only thing I would miss is things like in Bravely Default and Second with the village... But I'm not sure I would mind much if I wouldn't be able to go online.

    Homebrew I wanna Homebrew but scared of getting banned, should I be?

    @vinstage I have chosen for taking the risk. I am currently on Boot9Strap + Luma, And even with the banwave still going currently I don't seem to be affected (yet).

    I just recently picked up a n64 from a garage sell, and looking to mod it and add a HDMI port to it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3548173115...044&customid=4f3038da73b61afddf7e5e90f4153856
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like. May just have to make something myself.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Maybe start a kick starter page and sell them, yea right. Big N would prob C&D me, not anything Big N related, but just because that's what they do nowdays. Then come out with they own in a year or so.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, Nice. Which operating system are you installing?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, windows 10 and some linux distro like linux mint
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    dualbooth
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Speaking of which
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
