Hello, I bought a broken PS5 with many missing components, broken disc drive and update error (su-101312-8)
ps5_1.jpgps5_2.jpg

I fix the disc drive with a piece of wire, 0201 100nF cap, nintendo switch fuse, disc drive and update works
because I can't find the right components
ps5_3.jpg

PS5 works good but if the ps5 is off for a longer time I always get a blue light of death and it has to start in safe mode
Can anyone help me with the right components

Thanks

Remove your jumper cable on that SOT236 PAD and see if you still have BLOD
those 10 caps is just filter/decoupling caps for the wifi chip. Wont lead to BLOD without them

I guess that No.15 missing chip maybe SI3493DDV-T1-GE3, 90% sure

I guess this is the case when one buys the stuff on eBay almost for nothing (my guess), finds that the stuff is not entirely functional, has the skills to repair it.. so why not? Some sort of a challenge. And fun.

I think I found the problem
The M021 504X chip gets very hot and can burn fingers
I'm not sure, but it looks like the chip is cracked
Can anyone tell me where I can buy this chip

Error Description
long blue light of death
ps5 error code ce-108262-9
PS5 UART error code 80800000 Kernel Panic Shutdown

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
