Hello,
I hope someone can help, I just received the flex for my oled, i've soldered other points on fine, however with very little heat one of the pads came off, its the one that's supposed to connect to the resistor under the pad labelled D on the flex from the guides, I don't know if this picture will help.

If i can avoid it I would prefer to keep the flex rather than waiting for a replacement, does anyone know if there is any point on the flex i can jumper this resistor to please?

I'm trying to avoid removing the flex and scraping it to see where it goes., if it goes anywhere?

Really grateful for anyone's help :)

most pro installers don't ever bother with that flex cable to begin with. It just sucks. CPU flex is the only important one. I think I've seen 2 installers use it 1 time, just for the video. That's about it.

Lol thank you, I did all the rest it was pretty straightforward just that pad fell off with me barely even touching it, watched all the videos, tried to read all the guides just to see if anyone mentioned that point, was going to start scraping it to see if I could expose where it went, glad I asked first 😀

there would be 6 wires to the chip:

- C (dat0)
- A (cmd)
- D (clk)
- B (rst)
- 3v3
- gnd

plus the cpu flex
So on this flex though it would be easier to just add a small jumper from the trace another from A and a jumper for power and then jump the other flex direct to the board instead of this flex??
