Nintendo Switch Online adds two more Nintendo 64 titles to its classic library

Two classic titles join the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack game lineup. Available starting April 24th will be the motorcycle racing game Extreme G and another quirky racing game, Iggy's Reckin' Balls. Both titles will feature local and online multiplayer.

Today, two racing games originally released on the Nintendo 64™ system are bringing full throttle thrills to players with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership! Careen around rollercoaster racetracks in Extreme-G™ and bounce up, up and away in the offbeat Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls™ game when these titles join the Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Switch Online library.

There is not that many Nintendo 64 games to start with and Nintendo prefers to remake GBA games and sell them for 60 bucks hence why despite there being a lot of GBA games they haven't added much.

Like I could name 50 definitely good games for the Nintendo 64 but I honestly can't name a hundred, can you?

Pretty damn cool to be able to play Extreme-G online with others in 2024 on a native console, not gonna lie.

It was so good the sequels were on PS2/GCN. Well, 1 and 2 sort of exclusive to N64, 3 and 4 on PS2/GCN.

-snip-

Not my photo, just find the cover so nostalgic and memorable.

Hell yeah! Own this on GC and put probably hundreds of hours into it between me and my cousin. Hell, we recently replayed it on PS3 using backwards compatibility last year. What a rad series, sad they never continued it outside of the XGRA.

Smash is little complex. All the royalties to HAL and stuff Nintendo probably is cheaping out on.
When fans think of Smash, they (and I) associate it with Nintendo, but yes HAL is the developer behind it.

You know, I'd love to see Smash 64 Remix on the NSO... That'll never happen. 😆
