Hi everyone! I want to let anyone know about Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300 update database stopped working after 3-13-2024.

Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300 working on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8.x, 10 and 11.

I love Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300 because of super light program, fastest and saving resource (no bloatware or heavy running in background).

Very sad news! :(:(

Here my screenshots of Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300 on Windows 11. Proof there is database update is stopped working.

This is a statement that one can immediately believe. In fact, the update of the virus definitions in Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300 worked perfectly until 13/03/2024. And thus all statements about the incompatibility of the current definitions with such an old programme version, which have been repeatedly spread here by the moderators in recent years and even in this thread, have proven to be wrong. And the fact that suddenly nothing works anymore is of course a deliberate intervention by Malwarebytes to artificially herald the death process. This is very, very unfortunate.
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300 was and is the lightest, most resource-saving, fastest and most compatible antimalware programme ever. The protection was completely sufficient for me and many other users, and ideal for older computers. Please, pass these statements on to the developers! Thanks in advance!

I have version1.75.0.1300. I've been manually updating every day without a problem. Yesterday when I went to update, I got a pop-up that said, "You have the latest database version." It was the same message today. It's unusual for it to go this long without an update. I contacted MalwareBytes and they won't help because I don't have a paid version. This is a screen shot showing the last database:

This is not Malwarebytes... This looks like some modified reupload. This is what it should look like.

It's just an older version of Malwarebytes, typically aimed at Enterprise I.T. so it has long-term support.

I suggest just downloading a copy of the v1.80.x.xxxx "Corporate Edition" as I think it's still getting updates. But you have to find it yourself, as it's pirated to be Portable.

I find 1.80.2.1012 version on team os forum that someone already report not working update database cause by changed host IP address or dropped support by Malwarebytes company. Similar affect 1.75.0.1300 in same old host IP address where to update database from Malwarebytes company servers. Company is greed know what to do with internet technology to disrupt support to everyone. I'm not going to download old version software because it's useless right now. That's sad news.

Here proof about 1.80.2.1012:

They must have either stopped supporting this version or changed the hosts

Mine has also stopped updating from 13-3-24 and says you have the latest database.

Pity really as this was a great version.

1.75.0.1300 and 1.80.2.1012 are use same way to update database are official dead now. RIP to both versions.

I have to force to use Malwarebytes 5 version (bloatware) to use from Malwarebytes company for now. I saw company post about new version Malwarebytes 5.1 Beta. I don't trust "Beta" version. :(

I have to backup Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Database now.

You can manually copy the database from a working computer using a flash drive or CD onto the another PC or/and infected PC for to scan then remove any infect files. Our database file is stored in the following locations.

Windows XP and 2000:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

rules.ref is in there

Windows Vista, 7, 8.x, 10, 11:
C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

rules.ref is in there

Note: Starting with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, you must also copy the file database.conf located within the Configuration folder which is in the same folder as rules.ref listed above.

Anyone have latest database for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware v1.75.0.1300?

I can download to get latest database to keep updated by replace files (copy the file database.conf located within the Configuration folder which is in the same folder as rules.ref).
