I'm always looking for good action movies, even the ridiculous ones. Here's a few I liked:

The Fugitive (US Marshals is pretty good too)
Mission Impossible 1-Dead Reckoning
Edge of Tomorrow
Fast & Furious
(I'll admit it. I liked 5 through 8)
Indiana Jones 1-3
Speed (the second half of the sequel isn't all that awful either)
Top Gun: Maverick (I like this one better than the original)

What are some of your favorites and recommendations?

What are some of your favorites and recommendations? Indulging in movies via 123movies can be convenient, but it's crucial to prioritize legal and ethical consumption. Consider supporting creators by opting for legitimate streaming services or purchasing digital copies. Legal alternatives not only ensure guilt-free enjoyment but also contribute to the sustainability of the entertainment industry.
Die Hard: Bruce Willis as John McClane battling terrorists in a high-rise building.
Mad Max: Fury Road: A thrilling post-apocalyptic chase across the desert.
The Dark Knight: Heath Ledger’s iconic portrayal of the Joker in Gotham City.
John Wick: Keanu Reeves as a retired hitman seeking vengeance.

That's awesome you have a taste for action and thrillers! Your list definitely has some classics on it. Here's a few thoughts to add to the conversation:

For the action side: If you enjoyed Mission Impossible, you might also dig the John Wick series. Keanu Reeves goes full-on action hero and it's a blast. Also, if you haven't seen Mad Max: Fury Road, it's a non-stop adrenaline rush with incredible visuals.

For the detective side: "The Invisible Guest" is a great choice, there's also "Searching" which is a unique take on the detective genre using entirely computer screen footage. If you want something classic, check out "Chinatown" with Jack Nicholson, it's a neo-noir masterpiece.

Streets Of Fire - 1980s Walter Hill movie
State Of Grace - 1990 Sean Penn movie where plays an undercover cop in Boston out to bust his friends played by Ed Harris and Gary Oldman.
Platoon - 1980s war movie about vietnam by oliver stone
Exiled - 2006 Hong Kong action movie by Johnnie To
Night Watch and Day Watch - 2004 and 2006 fantasy movies that are some the most interesting hyperkinetically directed movies since the days of Tony Scott at his most unhinged.

i thought the best recent one i've seen was the mission impossible fallout movie. that helicopter chase at the end is i think the greatest chase scene of any movie ever made.

because self deprecating humor is important, as long as it doesn't turn into self hate. because you can't really make fun of anyone if you can't even make fun of yourself
