Removing Wii motion from games

I saw this video:

So he used RVLoader to be able to map Wii motion controls to a GC controller to play Wii games.
Have anyone tried this method?
Which games apart from the one he mentions would benefit from this?
Also anyone know why he didn’t seem to get DKC returns to work?
