concerns aside on whatever the heck valery means...my best guess is maybe that it is more so the case that you notice more instances of them in the homebrew scene then elsewhere because said scene is where you are more involved in? probably poor wording but hopefully it makes sense. tldr, noticing more of something in the places you spend the most time in then not
Was thinking how both the cruel and this wrath developed or maintained "alternative" eshops, and how quickly they became famous between their younger audiences for those apps.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
