same thing with pretty much any modern Android phone. You don't need to have a closed architecture for this

The one thing I like is their creeptag...er I mean airtag :tpi:

For real tho the only thing apple has imo is branding and slightly better cpus - but you can't use the cpus anyway since their phones are locked down to the point of being uselessly overpowered

It is rather trivial to factory reset an Android device without needing the lock screen password.

You can reset it, but then Google's activation lock kicks in, still can't use the phone
