Unless they have Windows 7, in which case they still got scammed, but at least they could use it.
Pretty sure Dolphin dropped Windows 7 (and 8?) support, so it may have been worth it for them, especially if they got it for cheap.
I can't find a(n easy) way to download a Windows 7 -compatible version on their website.

okay so far it is performing well, mario kart double dash and animal crossing both work fine with minor lag. the games themselves are a bit underwhelming but they still have that retro charm
