That's his choice to make. I have grown pretty tired of my 3DS, and had lost interest to the homebrew community because not many people are making good shit for that console anymore.

I sold it 3 months after I bought (and modified) it. Because I simply did not use it and never would: my love and dedication goes exclusively to my PSP and pink DS Lite. I had to set aside my blue DSi as well unfortunately, but I will definitely use it in the future. And then there are the java puzzle games on my old Nokia phones. 😜

Why drive a full-fledged car, when you can also drive a Goggomobil?

I admit that I had to Google that name (unknown to me). So it seems to me that it is a car that looks remarkably like our old Fiat 500: I love both! 🤩

Comparisons with cars are often easy, but not without problems. This time it really fits.

"Goggomobil (or Fiat 500) compared to normal car" is the same as "Nokia phone (ab)used for gaming compared to handheld console."
Preferring some phone over a 3DS!?

I have to quote you: "You're truly unique"

You couldn't have paid me a better compliment. Here as in daily life, I love small and simple things (and pleasures).

Changing subject, I have a question for you (or whoever wants to answer me): sometimes, like today, I run out of available giga bytes of my sim card and use a free, public wi-fi. Do I take any risks? Do I need to change DNS? Which ones do you recommend?

Unencrypted WiFi might reveal personal data. Most sites are fortunately encrypted nowadays.
Not only the DNS might lie and block certain pages, a connection controlled by somebody else might incorporate other methods of censorship.
If possible, a VPN should solve such problems (to my knowledge, not my topic).

Unlimited connection via landline instead of overpriced and castrated mobile connection.

In my naivety I assumed, despite your orientation on phones, you had a real connection to the internet… instead on relying on mobile data only.
