If you're moderate, why not try something like PopOS or even Manjaro.
If you feel you wanna go balls to the wall, EndeavourOS, Garuda or if you really feel up to it, Arch.
I'll probably try mint, I used etcher to write a batocera .img file now I can't shred ext4 at all which I figured would be a hassle hoping fdisk is my last resort the card reads fine but can't reformat at all with aoemi or minipart
Yeah I'm hoping something reformats it etcher probably automatically made the img file ext4 now it keeps acting like it'll format then refreshes back to normal
btw i feel this a good time to remind you guys that sea of thieves was made by rare, who also made DKC1-3 and DK64, alongside banjo kazooie and conker's bad fur day
