I feel sorry for you. For someone already suffering from depression, dealing with all these administrative and bureaucratic issues alone is even more distressing. You will see that the future will be more promising: have faith (maybe you prefer "trust") and don't give up. :)

Ja, Pustekuchen!
(Sorry, that one can't be translated)

Move internet connection? The same as above: Pustekuchen! For this they want a high one-time fee AND increase the price for less service.
So… I cancelled the contract and now have to find another internet provider.

I recommend a drastic remedy that will surely make you grimace in disapproval and make a gesture of categorical rejection: do without an Internet connection from now on!!! :teach:

There is hardly anything that could shock me. That includes cutting off internet (or electricity, or floating water)

The internet is less entertainment, more a learning tool for me.
Remember that I don't like to walk around being contactable and that I'm all in for preservation and plan to make essential information offline available. This includes the full Wikipedia, which is – of course – in no way sufficient…

…(especially considering the political bias in many parts). But it is a good/broad basis.
Me being able to exist without an app, which reminds me to breath, is nevertheless not enough reason to *voluntarily* forgo the possibilities of seemingly unlimited information at the fingertips.

Biggest problem in this regard is, what is summarized under the buzzword “digitization”.

Doing everyday things, which used to work without computers, are sometimes by law mandatory online. It won’t take too long anymore: At some point it will be forced upon people to carry a bugging device (online smartphone without root access / without open bootloader) each time leaving the own house.

That is what we call progress.

Besides: If you want to get rid of me, just tell it in blunt words to leave you alone.

" If you want to get rid of me, just tell it in blunt words to leave you alone."
But go figure! Not even close. I didn't mean that. I just wanted to poke you, nothing more. Remember, my dark, poorly hidden, trickster side that emerges occasionally?

Of course you did. → :creep:
If I cancel my internet connection (contract) and don't get a new one, I'm gone here. As far as I know GBAtemp doesn't yet offer reading and posting with the help of carrier pigeons.
