Hi, I have just completed the update to 4.2 using the softmod guide and it works like a charm. However, what I have is a JAP Wii, often times the JAP menu simply is not optimal. Hacking Questions on Dowgrading from 4.1J to 3.2J
Hi, I have a Wii JAP 4.1J with D2CKey that I bought about two years ago. Recently by accident I updated to 4.2J and then followed a guide here to downgrade to 4.1J. JAP games all play fine and some USA games seem to have some problems, such as SMG, Mario Kart, Wii Fit, etc. Not really sure...- jakelee

Hi, I have been using Memorex DVD+R (4.7GB) for burning Wii ISO images.
