For a basic example, I wanted to change the hex values of something, lets say an ISO, to 30 (so the text is 0). This should autoboot it and I know there is a program that does just that.
But lets say I wanted to change a certain line to a certain value, how could I create something like that...
I have one on my Wii and I need to remove it to install the drivekey.
Thanks, I'm wondering if the drilling methods work for the Wii because of the electrical components all over. If not, any other methods?
Cheap methods... As well as a focused electromagnet may work, I'm not paying a few...
Seriously. I've had issue opening the battery case with a wide selection of screwdrivers atm using this guide:
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=164800
Is there either a workaround or a good screwdriver I could buy, likely in person and at a target or something?
Thank you.
EDIT: Also...
I got a 2 gig SD card and yeah, after months of use, its starting to have errors whenever I run it through an Imagemate and I modify files on it, it generally causes the entire computer to crash, for my other SD card everythings fine.
It also acts like it isn't inserted every other 20 seconds...
Does this brick your Wii. Having a downgraded IOS15 on startup of the Wii (from the trucha bug restorer, after downgrading IOS15 so you can run a patch on IOS36), does that cause boot2v4 to brick the system menu and will that affect the recovery menu if it does?
I definitely have the covers on my SD card but is there a certain location they need to be in? I have no wifi and yeah, I put them in the apps\uloader folder.
Thanks.
In short, what I'm upset about even though its the greatest loader I've come across yet is that Ocarina is almost identical to Gecko OS 1.07 except in 1 issue, it has no SD support. I like using snapshot loader codes so I am wondering if someone will build the SD cheating ability with the open...
So even though people definitely know this, I'm gonna post the result:
I got cIOS36 rev7 installed on IOS246 by using the cIOScorp original cIOS36.
Installed cIOS38 rev14 on IOS248 by using the cIOScorp 3.4 cIOS38 and patched it.
Looking for a DIP10 module, particularly on IOS36 . Remember...

Should be fine. Enjoy. Might need some more testers but I just changed two values so its fine.
Thanks Da_letter_A and Bionic Sonic. I really didn't do much except search the easy code for what to edit, but it should work well.
I had it tested and its fine.
Hey, I'm trying to get the cIOS36 rev10 extracted as well as cIOS36 rev7 extracted so I can install them on IOS247 and IOS248, and I'm trying to learn how to do this.
I've done google searches and the closest I came to was this:

But I truly don't...

First off, they give you many names of mod chips which a google search will give you methods to buy them and be able to use your owned burned games.
In addition with this:

Between the two, they can teach...
Yes, I am trying to be more knowledgeable about hacking and also I want to find a way to get the Dark Theme Extended to 4.2.
Thanks, I was wondering how one would go patching it. Where could I find the palette and texture files??
I know the whole decryption thing, I can do this through Softmii...

This is using the patched system menu wad method and I use the FSToolbox to "insert" it into the system menu WAD. Just basically a proof of concept video, just for technical details:
I had already installed IOS70 trucha signed, IOS38 trucha...
Recently I have seen a lot of threads where the thread is one of the following:
"Hey, I've got boot2v4 but I wanna downgrade because it feels safer even though everything is better on the upgraded menu and I'll kill my Wii if I do it. Please???"
"Hi, I decided to use a really old guide an...
If we got cios36 rev10 to install at the standard 249 spot and got rev14 to install to IOS250, and built backup loaders like Neogamma to recognize this (Softchip should be fine with this I think), we could get two very good versions and get the benefits of both.
How would we patch rev14 to go...
I am obviously not linking to these files, just making sure there aren't new IOS's in this update.
