Good Morning, I came across my old Nintendo Wii yesterday some games are not loading through WiiFlow (black screen crash) and basic homebrew applications sometimes crash seconds upon opening them.
I've not used the Wii for so long that I don't know what is the best software to use on the...
Hi all,
I've been out of the loop for a good few months, and want to play the newer games, particularly Cadence of Hyrule.
Here is my current switch setup:
Firmware 5.1.0 with autoRCM enabled (updated via ChoidujourNX)
SX OS v2.5.3
I've never used emuNAND..
Can I ask the simplest way to...
Ignoring the cost, should I upgrade from 8700K to 9700K cpu.
It has more cores but no hyperthreading I believe.
I game occasionally, mainly video editing.
Thanks
I'm just wondering have there being any big changes since 5.1.0? (i.e. worth updating).
I notice the sticky threads are not really being updated, and there's so much to trawl through - feel free to burn me :)
So my sons PC has been having trouble connecting to our home network.
I ran ipconfig and found:
192.168.55.1 his IP address
192.168.1.xxx all others on the network.
So his third octet is different to all the others on the network. We tried ipconf/release then ipconfig/renew and it stays on...
I'm confused about Nintendo Accounts, v6.0 coming out and all that.
I don't have an account with Nintendo, just the console 'user profile' . My 5.1.0 Switch has never been online, and is in airplane mode. I never plan on going online. But I'm seeing that some newer NSP's are required a "linked...
I've been looking at HDMI audio extractors, they all seem like cheap Chinese (no offence) with unreliable reviews.
My Sont STR-1200 amp has optical and coax spdif inputs.
Anyone got 5.1 audio working with their console?
Following a youtube guide and I am learning about arrays, the code is:
char name[8] = "Shopping";
printf("My array name is %s" ,name);
But when it prints out is says:
My array name is Shopping)
Why is the end bracket showing?
Thx
A serious question as I would like to help my teenage kids progress in this field:
How did people such as @rajkosto @Reisyukaku @caitsith2 @tomGER @SimonMKWii @jjbredesen @EventAssistant (to name a few I know) get starting in creating cfw/homebrew/programming/reverse engineering (or whatever it...
So I just updated from 4.1.0 to 5.1.0.
Had an issue where homebrew was not showing, so I did the windows fix here
Now I can install some nsp files but not others, mainly botw (get black spinning icon). I also noticed it seems to show "failed to register" message".
I'm using tinfoil (tried...
I'd like to have a few different CFW's on one sdcard, but I notice the hbmenu.nro file differs.
Is it the same or are their differences?
Is their one "universal" hbmenu.nro? github
So I've got a bunch of nsp's, which all install to sdcard and play fine.
But when I go into settings>data management>software>(choose game)>check for corrupt data
it always shows the problem "Corrupted data was found" - error 2016-0602"
It happens with all the nsp installed games, I'm guessing...
Downloaded from CDNSP the DLC 2 pack is only 120kb, I'm guessing it's incomplete?
As the game does load, but I'm get data corrupted in switch settings menu, and can't restore saves using Checkpoint.. (only botw affected).
I downloaded PQ from CDNSP, installed to "System" (using sxos1.4), but shows black spinner and will not load.
Does it need >3.0.2 firmware? Dumb question?
Otherwise, which games support devmenu and 3.0.2 please?
I'm guessing it's in SDCARD>Nintendo>Contents folder somewhere?
There is a 1.29GB file name 00 file in: "G:\Nintendo\Contents\registered\00000090\b201291d3e099872debd1c1870572cc3.nca" folder, is that it?
Same size as the NSP file I installed.
BOTW won't launch now without an update...
So I just dumped my new Switch NAND (v3.0.2) and it comes to 29.1GB (exfat one file)
But Winrar compresses it down to a total of 480MB!
Is this normal guys/gals?
So I purchased Brain Training so I can install Haxchi.
Launched HBC via browser exploit and ran nnupatcher, then launched eshop and purchased the DS game.
Now it's just stuck in pending, there a failed system update above it. I've tried selecting DS game and 'download first' but it stays...
So some clever person added a wifi connection without the DNS blocked, and I think Zelda game update downloaded in the background.
Now it won't start without me doing the update, even if I delete all internet connections etc..
I'm using external HDD and installed via WupInstaller.
Is it...
i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.
