    ROM Hack If I want to upgrade from 2ds to new 3ds xl

    I guess when I take my memory card out of my 2ds and put it into the new 3ds xl that won't work. I haven't bought a new 3ds xl yet but when I do what procedures do I have to take? Do I have to do all the hacking again? And can I keep my files. Only files I care about right now is my Pokémon save...

    Hardware Is the 2ds future proof?

    Only games I'm interested in is Pokémon. Would I be able to play the next release on my 2ds? If not I consider selling my 2ds without it devaluating that much and buy the new 3ds. By the way I don't care about 3d and I'm also not interested in other games. I'm kind of hesitating at the moment...
