Hacking JAP Wii users guide v2

It works - but only managed to get Pal Wiifit working with Jap Wii by using Freeloader. Can't open it using Trucha, but opens on WiiScrubber. Haven't managed to get it working this way yet though.

Donchen, I got the same as you, I updated via the PAL Mario kart even though I was on 3.2J (and yes I am on a Jap wii) I used the JAP version of the remover to fix my channels. Hope that helps

Gaming Mario Kart Online - Very dissapointing

As above... Nintendo is appealing to the wider audience, the casual gamer, the ones who can just pick up the game and play. It's where the money is!

Hacking JAP Wii users guide v2

Hi, I also confirm that my jap wii is updated with SSBB Jap update. I hope this solves your problem. Do not update with PAL Mario kart as you will get dual channels (but you can always remove them with the Dual Channel removed provided by waninko) Mario Kart Channel Problem: I get a...

Hacking JAP Wii users guide v2

Confirmed, PAL Mario Kart Wii is working on Jap Wii. Imgburn 3.2J Wii Wiikey 1.9g I first used WBB to remove the update then burnt to disc. Do this otherwise you will get dual channels. Tip: Use re-writables that way you won't waste media I also updated first from when i played Jap SSBB

Hacking JAP Wii users guide v2

Haven't tried it yet but get V2 of the patcher and according to the readme (perhaps it applies to US version too?) House of Dead 2&3 (J) can be altered to English by patching main.dol, hod2.dol and hod3.dol (under zexec folder) I might give it a go tonight..

Hacking JAP Wii users guide v2

I think we need to ask someone who has actually burnt it without removing the updates. At worst you'll get dual channels.

If you don't want to go the Trucha way then there's the 15% trick (where you have to power off at 15%??) but I don't recommend it. Put the layerbreak in - it doesn't hurt (see post above)

Hacking JAP Wii users guide v2

I reburnt it with write of speed 2.4x instead of letting ImgBurn decide. Disc works flawlessly, played for about 2 hours with no problems.

Hacking JAP Wii users guide v2

Yes I've done it just now, I used Trucha Signer to replace the _update.inf with the WiiUpdatePatcher and burnt it to dual layer. I didn't use Brickblock on it because I don't think it works if you do that. Placed it in the drive and it ran first time, no prompting for update or anything. Played...

To sum up, it's better to remove updates from US Smash Bros, even if you've already run the Jap version.

Hacking Ok, what the fuck is this...

hi, from what I gather, running Brawl dvd9 outof region will give you dual channels unless you do the 15% trick or use Trucha signer. I recommend Trucha Signer but it takes time to set up.

Hacking JAP Wii users guide v2

I would say no because the NTSC-J version does not contain Eng language files to revert to
