It is legal in the UK to have flashcarts and modchips, mod your consoles and backup your games. It is legal to import flashcarts.
This news story is unrelated to flashcarts, it could have been 26,000 DSLites for all the law cares.

Just to clear up some misinformation. The flashcarts have nothing to do with this ruling, it was the fact he imported them illegally to sell at profit, i.e. Tax Evasion. Flashcarts are completely legal in the UK.

I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
