    Do you mean you've got joystick working as 'move and turn' and shoulder buttons as strafing now? Any chance you could upload your config file please? - I tried for ages to do this and couldn't do it!!

    The fix to this is simple - for some reason you can only use a file called doom.wad When I want to play doom 2 I have to go into FBI and rename doom2.wad to doom.wad (after renaming doom.wad to doom.wad1 for example) That will do it.

    I've been trying all sorts to get this done tbh - I find using the nub for 'look' all the time is no good for play sessions longer than 10 minutes l I tried mapping higher numbers as you suggested but nothing changed. I'll give that rehid thing a go: looks promising!!!

    I was also fine with my 2k screens after doing this colour mod: but then I put vitabright on my 1k and it is SO much better I haven't touched the 2k since. Which is a shame cos it's a lot nicer in every other way!

    Hi - no, if you want to play doom 1, make sure doom.wad is in the prboom directory (along with prboom.wad) If you want to play doom 2, put doom2.wad in that directory instead - make sure doom.wad isn't in there as well though I just move them about thru fbi

    Is there a way to remap the left joystick to 'turn' rather than 'strafe' please? I've remapped the buttons in the cfg but that only changes the d-pad settings not the joystick..... Thanks in advance!!

    Sorry to drag up an old thread here, but is there any way at all to display the main display in 4:3 aspect ratio with black borders? Even with the 'widescreen' setting all the graphics are still stretched.. Thanks!

    @K3Nv2 He was looking into consoles for his house anyway (for my younger siblings and himself) and I had a spare XSX and Switch I ended up selling him at pretty steep cuts. I would just give them to him, but I did buy them with the intent to sell them... and college is super expensive.
