Hello, I have a question. I managed to update the system firmware as well as I'm using the latest atmosphere update and all, however everytime I try to open a game, even from cart to enter the homebrew without memory limitation, I cannot open it as the system is asking for a system update...
Question. Have been away form the scene since the ban wave last year on May. Was the cause ever found? I want to unban myself, but even if I do, there's still risk of getting banned again? Does one needs to obfuscate the activity log to not have any homebrew stuff?
I wonder, is it technical possible to use this via a .3dsx in the homebrew launcher?
I'm trying to mask/hide all homebrew stuff and load the homebrew via the new Rosalina mode from lumaCFW.
Just investigated and read about sighax.
Wow, sounds pretty OP.
Guess I won't complain this time and update right away.
(Also, what's the chance of bricking when trying to update to sighax?)
I managed to run it fine. It even ran with the default firmware, but I installed YSMenu and works like a charm!
Thanks for the help anyway.
I believe it's one of those TTDS that cme in a big rectangular box, but I don't think it's an official one? As the sticker doesn't has the rainbow...
So wait, I don't quite understand.
Do I need to have a patched TWL already?
I'm running luma on a9lh on a new 3ds and I'd like to use my TTDS. Do I need to install YSMenu, or just installing the cia will do?
(I know YSMenu is better, but I can't risk to brick my TTDS which has served all these...
So anyone knows if there's a firmware for the white r4 sdhc dual core 2014 to prevent the date nag?
I've been looking all over but they put links directly into the 'official' website which don't have it anymore.
I get an unhandled exception when exporting the cia with Snes9x Next (RetroArch version, not bubble2k16 one) or CATSFC as base emulator.
This is the log:
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\Users\usernamel\AppData\Local\Temp\201703302122151263\DecryptedApp.0000.74fa47ed'...
Dissapointed that I can't use my rom hacks that I have patched, which works on desktop emulators, but the program won't recognize them.
(Notably, super mario kart roms that have been modified with the tool to edit tracks)

Is it possible to dump a game that's installed digitally?
I erased my custom smash bros with music cia from my PC and I don't want to go through all the process of adding custom music and making a new cia, but I still have the game installed on my old3ds.
By any chance one of the unknown values of the tracks in the music editor is a flag which tell which music is unlockable?
Or is there a way or a file to edit to have all the songs available from the start?
Anyone knows where the battle BG models are?
Would it be possible to replace the wifi battle virtual stadium background model?
I'm tired of seeing the same background since XY.
Would be nice to replace it with ones found in the game (I assume only some might work, as they might lag the game...
I wonder what will truly happen in the following days.
People calling nintendo trying to get unbanned mentioned that the ban seems to be issued from Nintendo of Japan.
Banning permanently from playing the game online before release date does seem harsh, but I guess nintendo is labeling as an...
That doesn't make sense.
Let's see.
I have a NAND backup from when I wasn't banned.
I am to extract those 2 files after injecting it.
Open them in that hex editor and post it to my banned one.
Once done, save the changes and inject it to my banned console?
Ah, yes, portrait mode, surely the best way to film a row of people. If only there were some way to fit a wider shot, at the expense of height... if only...
