Hi there.
Well, that was meant to be a surprise, but now that the cat is out of the bag, we can no longer hide or deny it.
A lot of effort has been put behind the scenes into bringing 3 lines back into the English GBA port of GS1. We closely worked with MCBoy and PhoenixBound...
While we are using Discord for private discussions, there is no Discord server.
It would be beyond the scope of this project to also maintain one.
As I said, some time ago:
It didn't even cross my mind. Does the second word have to be capitalized? It's not an error to be "fixed", but it can be changed, yes. Question is, should it?
Indeed, nobody has translated GS2 on the GBA yet.
However, the same could have been said for GS1 and GS3 a few years ago.
As for updates... Well, we're still working on case 4 in GS1, but I can't provide any estimations as to when it will be complete.
That's definitely a big task to uptake, but I could guide you through it. Check your PMs for further details.
We fixed that in Patch 006.
Please make sure you have downloaded patch 006:

Well, the original project of the first post was dropped a long time ago, as stated in the first post.
I only picked it up in 2014 - a long time after it had been abandoned - with the initial intention to just complete GS3, which was completed and fully playable in 2017. Not too bad for a...
A GBA version can play in almost every platform there is, at a decent speed. Even in platforms other versions can't play at all. So there's still some value to that.
After all, this project started long before the HD remaster... It would be a shame for it to remain incomplete after all this effort.
Gyakuten Saiban 1 Patch 006
Fixed an infinite loop in case 2-3 and a crash in case 2-4.

The next release will include the translation of case 3. Since it's still work-in-progress, we'll provide a full list of the changes done along with the release.
The general goal of this project is to backport the english translation from the DS back to the GBA version. So what you can expect...
Thanks for providing a comparison sample, it makes things a lot easier to explain.
It's probably the other way round - the first one is the official DS sound, while the second is the edited one on the GBA.
The pitch itself isn't different. It's just that the GBA version has its higher...
We appreciate your intentions to help, but we had a reason for not creating a Discord server for this project so far.
Please understand that we are doing this as a hobby in our free time and we have our lives to live too. Up until recently it was just a 1-man project that I was doing on my...
Ah, yes, portrait mode, surely the best way to film a row of people. If only there were some way to fit a wider shot, at the expense of height... if only...
