Gaming TetrisFriends.com shutting down @ end of month. (May 31, 2019) Private server possibility?

With the discontinuation of Adobe Flash and potential security flaws, tetrisfriends (online free-to-play browser tetris) is going away. Are there groups/programmers working to rehost tetrisfriends on private servers? It's possible for info to be documented about server/client operations while...

ED64 Plus... my impressions. Any Owners around here?

Tried out alt64 1.8.23 for the first time today; Editing the config .ini file (alt64.ini) made some saves work that were created by the ED64P OS. All save types worked with the exception of .eep files. (SRA and FLA both loaded fine) It seems like alt64 creates eep files that are too big, saving...

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

What patches/patcher would I need? Does the tool have a patcher built in? I understand you're saying to patch the wad, I just don't see a patch/patcher in the original post.

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

I'm trying to make a few vWii NAND Title Launchers for N64 games. There's an issue though, I tried classic controller emulation and force classic controller, but for some reason it's not emulating the classic controller. It hangs on the screen saying "You need a classic controller" and then...

Hardware Mii's transfer from wii remote to Wii U?? How?

Awesome, thank you :D Just gotta wait for vWii RiiConnect24 (which is in the works currently) for those other scrapped buttons I mentioned to work on Wii U. (Mii Parade + Send Mii's over wc24) I'm just glad to have the nifty wii remote storage back lol

Hardware Mii's transfer from wii remote to Wii U?? How?

sorry for bumping an old thread but has anyone tried this yet? a lot of buttons got chopped from the right side of the vwii's mii channel menu: Mii Parade Wii Remote Send Mii's over wc24 It'd also be helpful to know if the mii channel on the vwii is a different version than the wii's mii channel.

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

I only have haxchi installed over an NDS VC (I don't think I have any autoboot cfw) , so I run the mocha app before I run WUPinstaller gx2 because I get the same sigpatch error without it. You should try it.

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

Mocha cfw is a haxchi app that takes care of the sigpatch stuff when you launch it. If you have haxchi you can run mocha lol, just run the mocha cfw haxchi app before you launch wup installer gx2 and the games will install fine. Like I said in the previous post, you'll also need to run the mocha...

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

Yup, the game you're injecting just needs to be patched with the wiimmfi patcher. Wiivc can access the consoles Wifi card, just not usb ports. A patched game (in my experience) will connect to wiimmfi's WFC server without needing to change any of your wii u's internet DNS settings...

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

Yes I understand, the issue is wiivc injections don't support usb peripherals including USB LAN adapters, so only a wireless connection will work.

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

Yes lol, that defeats the purpose, and requires wii remotes. The only way I could get the lan adapter to work was booting the physical game with wifi code patches. Just wanted to point out the limitations of wiivc injections. Bought a lan adapter just to play wiimmfi patched brawl on my gamepad...

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

I would imagine an official nintendo LAN adapter would bear the same result, though I'm using a 3rd party adapter as well by Rocketfish. The bigger question is if any USB devices work with wiivc injections (Wii speak or keyboard in ACCF for example), or if wiivc injection loading has the same...

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

The problem isn't with wiimmfi. The issue is that the wiivc injector is probably just nintendo official USB loader, and no usb loader has supported usb LAN.

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

The issue isn't with wiimmfi, the issue is that when your wii u's main connection is set to Wired Connection, a wiimmfi patched wiivc injection will refuse to attempt a connection. A wiimmfi patched wiivc injection will work perfectly fine with a Wireless connection, but when selecting...

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

Anyone try a wiimmfi patched iso injection with a LAN adapter? I keep instantly getting 51420 on my brawl injection, but the injection works fine (although slower) with a wireless connection. Just seems to be with the injection + lan adapter (and the lan adapter works fine when loading brawl...

    Modded ofc
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Speaking of my PS3 i havent downloaded any games yet bc my wifi is too slow
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and also because blackouts here are very common and that could damage the console
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
Do you have a surge protector or an UPS?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea but to play the next gen games, you must have those games on internal, or buy the official ssd expansion cards, which are expensive
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, dunno what each one of those are
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, my PS3 was already modded when my dad bought it for me and my brother
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh i recall seeing one in some in the houses of some relatives, including my dad's apartment
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, although whatever device we plug into them stops getting power anyways lol
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
    that's weird
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, and oh i was talking about ups
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    No not that one
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Surge protectors are what i was talking about

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.
