Now I'm too busy with other stuff to participate, but I still believe just translating the few words that are different isn't enough. A lot of stuff is completely changed in the English translation regardless of the MC and in my opinion it would require a lot of retranslation in some parts.
It...
internal problems between Edmund and Danny (composer), they had a disagreement or something and drifted apart, so Danny didn't give him permission to use his soundtrack in newer releases of the game.
Sorry to bump but I've been having the original problem as well and this seems like a pretty appropriate place to ask.
Trying to use SDL2 but everything that isn't just init and quit results in a crash.
I have the following code in a .cpp file https://pastebin.com/q8g8gEfa

It's not that the game files loop, the MP3s from the OST have at least an additional loop, the game files simply loop by going back to the beginning of the track, there aren't any actual loop points. So what I'm saying is you'd just need to cut the MP3s from the OST at specific points. Still...
Those loop and have a fadeout, would have to edit every single one of them (which still can't be shared through here so...). That's beyond the scope of this, besides at that point I might as well use it as a mod for the PC version too.
Also, I think the quality of those files is already good...
This mod replaces the music of Super Meat Boy with the original by Danny Baranowsky, much like this mod for Wii U: https://gbatemp.net/threads/super-meat-boy-pc-soundtrack-mod-for-wii-u-w-sdcafiine.493981
Requirements:
-Zip attached to this post
-LayeredFS

woops. I guess I could make a script to extract and encode everything, I don't want to make things too complicated for the downloaders but I'll see.
I was thinking of posting it somewhere else but it's not like there's one important Switch piracy forum or site like there was for 3DS.
I'm trying...
Nice, so he just posted a MEGA link and literally nobody said anything against it, guess I can do the same thing for now.
also tfw I could've just drag&dropped that instead of converting and checking everything... at least my files are smaller...
It's a music mod for Super Meat Boy, which replaces the new music with the original music from the PC release and the other old releases, since a lot of people don't like the new music in the newer releases. Problem is that I'm just posting a bunch of probably copyrighted game music files. Can I...
I just made it today, I actually just came to the forum to see if there were any rules against uploading something like this (since you know it's pretty much copyrighted material). I'll find out what the best way to post it is tomorrow, it's too late right now.
Edit: managed to do it using this https://gbatemp.net/threads/nsps-nca-failed-to-convert-with-hactool.510372/#post-8126351
I want to mod the music for Super Meat Boy, a game that I could only find as an NSP.
I managed to extract the NCAs from it, and there's one that takes up pretty much all...
Nice, it worked, though I'm getting a "Could not save data" error on the game I'm trying (FF Crystal Chronicles Echoes of Time). Are saves still not supported with this type of games?
Is there a rough ETA on support for thumb games (not sure if that's the term, just repeating what I was told earlier)? I want to know whether I should make a friend buy a flashcart or just wait until that feature is implemented if it's not going to take long.
I just set this up, after hearing about the new nds-bootstrap but failing to make it work on TWLoader. I'm trying to boot Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles Echoes of Time from SD on n3DS, but I get the "Error!" screen while loading it. I was told with the new nds-bootstrap all games would work...
i just finished all 4 endings of replicant, and im interested in the project (all members in this thread seem pretty inactive but might as well try posting). i dont really have any experience translating and im not fluent in japanese but i know enough to understand most of the game without much...
I may try the new ram site, and download more RAM to my Switch. Not sure if ddr3 is the right ram
for it tho. Edit- no it uses floppy Ram, just like @AncientBoi
