    Missing in action? No!

I know that some of my friends here at GBATemp have been wondering as to where exactly have I been since departing abruptly many months ago. Recently, a few have managed to remember my e-mail address and have asked that I, at the very least, say something...anything really...to those who I have...

    Parents: Fear depression, not gaming

R.I.P. Brandon Crisp We learned of the story of Brandon Crisp through international media outlets as well as GBATemp members alerting the community of this tragedy. A 15 year old boy was reportedly involved in a dispute with his parents over the claims that his overuse of playing the X-Box 360...

I'm actually shocked with my speed considering it's a low-tier cable speed. Guess I'm still used to DSL.

And now for something completely different...

Been awhile since I done a blog entry, since the last one was...ugly. I've decided to put it into the past and move on. I hope everyone else involved does the same. Just a warning to share: If anyone decides to bring that back up again, then expect it to be moderated. It's over. Now...

I think all of us need to realize what OSW's words meant. After all, this is his blog. From my vantage point, the message I read was quite clear, and I'll attempt to summarize in four simple words, if I may borrow from Robert Wuhl: We'll get through it!

Team R4: Wake the (Censored!) up!

About this time last year, R4 was arguably the top slot-1 flash card in existance, if not one of them. Along with its sister product, M3 DS Simply, it reigned supreme in the marketplace with a hold that no other could come close to achieving at that time. Rivals, such as ROMMAN's SuperCard or...

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
