    As far as I know, the codec which this Wwise engine uses is Opus. With Sound Editor 2018, the song is seemingly encoded with said codec, allowing it to play in-game. However, I could be wrong.

    His method is correct. However, this does not allow for seamless songs. The songs will retain the original loop data. This is why we must search for the loop data and fix it.

    Patched Switches still boot into RCM. The only difference is the exploit will no longer work, and return 0x000. Maybe your jig is faulty? All you need to do is ground pin 10, so make sure the golden contact touches pin 10 (if you need a hint, it is the pin closest to the back of the Switch).

    It does make a difference. Rather than release the exploit and have Sony patch it faster, he waits for them to find the bug themselves and patch it so there's a range of firmware versions which have it. And in that time, he can also improve the exploit to make it stable.
