So, pardon the dumb question, but what's the ban risk with this? Is there any? My assumption is no since it's not built to communicate with Nintendo's servers at all in the first place but I want to be sure.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it officially stated to be a new type of "core" game? I.e., not a spinoff. It's certainly getting tons more coverage than any Pokemon spinoff has gotten in the past.
(also, spinoffs don't have to be lazy baby mode games, PMD Sky says hi)
Minecraft has been on Switch for a while; the one that's "coming to" Switch is sort of a weird update/replacement (afaik, people who own the original Switch Minecraft get it for free).
Anyway, as someone who owns and has played plenty of both here's some points:
- The Switch version has limited...
I'm going to tentatively say yes, but I'm not 100% sure :x
Assuming you have GM9, it's not too difficult to at least give it a shot:

Which version of the GBA injector are you using? Iirc, the newer versions just fix this issue on their own without you having to manually patch the ROM.
There were no past-gen Pokemon available before post-game and the League got a big shake-up by having a different sort of "champion" fight the first time you go through it.
Granted, I'm talking "different" in the context of a series that does indeed stick to a very rigid formula, of course :V
Masuda has also been tweeting a lot of photos with Pikachu and Eevee merch.
Granted, that could just be because they're literally the most popular creature in the franchise, but... It could be something.
not that i want it to be real though oof
Nearly everything about this sounds like butt. The screenshot is ugly, and even as someone who plays Pokemon GO, I do not enjoy its catching method and I don't even see how it would work without touchscreen.
(Unless you're gonna tell me that the game is handheld-only, because then I'll really ree).
I'm not gonna try to refute the first point because I came into the 3DS scene fairly late, but as for the second, I would encourage you to read up on the "Streisand Effect" ;p
Could it, though? As many others have stated, Gateway 3DS only advanced the scene.
And if it could, wouldn't that make it all the more pertinent to discuss? I'm really not seeing the logic here...
"Hey can someone make this thing that's most likely impossible and that I only have surface-level knowledge about?"
"No, that's impossible for these detailed reasons."
"Wow you're all just mean and stupid! Reeeeeeee!!"
Every time.
Trust me, if there was a decent easy method of PSX emulation on...
Well... If Sega Ages coming to Switch means the potential of Panzer Dragoon on Switch then I'm happy, haha. Heard they've had trouble getting the Saturn/Dreamcast games to work though since it's been out.
Looks.... bad. As others have said, looks like a 3DS screenshot with some extra stuff thrown in and blurred to all hell to hide the seams.
It also reminds me a lot of this area from D/P/Pt:
So, y'know "Gen 4 remakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and all that.
(I sure hope not; after OR/AS I don't trust them...
I love them too. I was so disappointed with the Pro Controller Dpad; it feels so chunky and hard to press quickly by comparison. Had the same problem between the 3DS XL and the 2DS.
What's really cool about Pi's tho is you can have multiple SD cards with different OS on each SD card and change from say a gaming machine to a full fledged pc if wanted
Again you get what you pay for, its like buying a S series for $300 but its only 1440p native, if you want true 4k, gotta get the X model for $500. But yea you right, when moms buying it anyways, you gotta stay cheap.
I here ya there, I have too many myself, and have hard time letting them go, since most of mine I've modded at some point. Anymore I just play Switch on the go, seriesx at home.
