I've only got one game to actually test, but the in-game text looks fine. The way the save file's title looks when viewed from the Wii's built-in save manager looks garbled though, which makes sense.
I figured out why the save file wasn't generating.
Turns out I technically wasn't even saving the game. I'd completely forgotten that the game only actually generates a save file if you manually save in a pause menu and that it doesn't generate one on new game start. Dolphin's little save game...
Thanks for the ideas. I just tried using Dolphin to generate a JP memory card RAW file, but using GCMM to "restore" it to my blank physical memcard results in the following message:
"Card and image flash ID don't match !"
This makes me wonder though if I can get GCMM to "restore" an individual...
I've got GCMM on my Wii, but I'm not sure what use it'd be in this case from the little bit I've used of it. As far as I've seen, it just lets you manage existing memory card data.
It does have an option for formatting a card, but it didn't have a prompt for what region to format it as when I...
Title pretty much sums up my problem. I've imported a JP GameCube disc to play on my softmodded Wii. PriiLoader's set up with region free everything enabled, and the disc itself boots with everything looking to work fine. Only trouble is that I can not generate a new save.
I've tried the...
I think I remember it detecting me blowing into the mic at one point, so I think it works. The thing is, my mic doesn't even always work on the home screen (there's an easter egg that when you blow on the mic, certain game banners will spin faster), so it's probably just a problem with the mic.
Im using TWLoader (or dsimenu++) and I'm using xdelta, but the problem is my 3ds mic doesn't always work, making me unable to continue on with the game.
So, I just got Spirit Tracks working. Everything was fine and dandy up until the first spirit flute segment. Does anyone know how to apply the dpad patch with an already ap patched game? I already tried patching the game with the dpad patch first and then xenophobia and vice versa, but that...
Try JKSV to extract the save, then use HxD to edit the save, finally use JKSV to inject the new save into picross. This worked for me. This is an old thread so I don't really expect you to see (or get anything out of) this...
This sounds neat, now all I have to do is find my old DS lite that's sitting around the eternal abyss of random things that is my closet.

Whoops, meant DSi, I forgot which one was which for a second...
I am trying to hack Fire Emblem Warriors on my 2DS XL, I have been trying to get it to work, but I need some extra help figuring it out. I have HEX codes, and a possibly outdated plugin, but I dont know how to implement them
