Hacking Switch not turning on after turning off

Boot files being corrupted won't cause this. Possible soldering failure. The green flashing seems to suggest an SD loader issue somehow, maybe try a different SD card or try booting without it. Which modchip is this? Harder to help if we don't know.

Is it possible to replace the OS of a xbox one to windows, or a linux distro?

Depends on if it's a patchable vulnerability.

I didn't create a NAND backup. What now?

Even then, with most bricks you can still backup the vital prodinfo partition, which is enough to return to bone stock including online play, you just have to rebuild the eMMC image from an existing proper partition layout and a system update. As long as you have prodinfo, you can 100% of the...

Hacking Booting to hekate without eMMC?

You don't need to desolder a Mariko eMMC just to reflash it. Picofly or HWfly can boot Hekate with an entirely empty eMMC. If the eMMC is dead, a new eMMC can be soldered to the console and Hekate can image it. If Prodinfo was backed up, then Sthetix level 2 unbrick will work, otherwise level 3...

Installing the Microsoft Store of an Xbox Console

We can already get Xbox versions of apps. You're never going to be able to decrypt them though without a console exploit.

Hacking Has an XB1 game ever been dumped before?

I have a feeling that vulnerability in AMD-SP may play a role.

Hacking Hardware Homebrew In terms of hardmodding, what has been achieved with the series consoles?

Are you referring to unfused chips? I'd love to read about that if you have a link.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

if you're garbage at soldering don't even try it. It can't be updated without disassembling the Switch yet anyway, and needs USB and buttons removed to fit.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

It doesn't need to be terribly specific, it just helps lower the interference on the eMMC lines so it can be read (seems to only be an issue once it switches to high speed communication) any 47 ish ohm resistor should work just fine. Mine were 0603 5%

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Sounds like failing eMMC, I'd make a dump before it goes.

Purple screen - corrupt GPT Mariko

Solved. used TegraExplorer to dump PRODINFO, got BIS keys with Lockpick_RCM. Rebuilt new raw image from there with Sthetix's guide. If you can only dump PRODINFO via Tegra Explorer due to a corrupt GPT, you'll need to flash it back via Tegra Explorer once you've rebuilt your image, as it dumps...

Purple screen - corrupt GPT Mariko

Hello all. What can I do about a corrupt partition table on Mariko consoles? HacDiskMount just throws a Primary GPT has invalid CRC of entries, trying secondary from offset 31268535808 error, and gptrestore was never updated for Mariko. What tools are available for fixing this? Or do I have to...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Android is not available for Mariko yet. Ubuntu works great though.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

It works on most if not all consoles.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

If you're getting the "no SD" screen then yes, you can boot stock using the volume buttons.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

The payload is a modified version of HWFLY's with some additional code to overwrite the keyslots before chainloading a secondary payload. That's really quite unnecessary. These comparisons could be done on a V2 console so its eMMC could be connected to an adapter without risking damage from...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

We haven't yet seen "picofly" cause a brick, so this is definitely a unique situation so far- and may be something we need to keep an eye on if others' consoles have this problem in the future.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

the "no SD" screen IS the payload, if it isn't launching (ie you have a black screen) you cannot bypass the chip by pressing the volume buttons. How would that even work? The volume buttons aren't connected to the Pico in any way, unlike on Trinket chips. The only way for that to work is to have...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

You'll be able to use it eventually, but you may have difficulty getting it to fit inside the console. You'll probably get it to fit by removing the button and port and cutting a hole in the EMI shield. Don't do that until the final firmware is out. The Zero is only about $3 on AliExpress btw...
