    I've always used PicoDrive for my Sega CD needs on various Retroarch installs and had zero issues related to it. For some reason the Switch is not kind to Sega CD games for either emulators thus me having to bin/cue all the games. I can get the games to load on the first or second try now...

I've tried other console games and they all work fine but Sega CD games are a no go which fucking sucks.     Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I've tried both Pico and Gens Plus with multiple games (and loading multiple file types like bin or cue) with the emulator either entering the CD Player, crashing back to Retroarch frontend, or crashing the Switch itself and requiring a restart.
