Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

It won't be Mission Control itself, but something it's enabling that wouldn't normally be possible. The Switch is already quite limited for bandwidth with Bluetooth devices. I can perceive noticable input delay just by having a controller connected wirelessly. For example, a controller that...

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

Probably not in the way you're thinking. Mission Control doesn't make use of the IR data from the wiimote. The main issue being that the Switch hasn't been designed with pointing in mind, so there is no way to feed it the data without replacing something it is expecting, such as the analog stick...

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

This was just a quick build to stop people complaining about the old one not working on 18.0.0. The zip doesn't contain the ble_pair app required to connect BLE controllers like the pinned ones do.

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

Not in the release versions. There are builds with experimental BLE support on my discord server

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

Only need the XBE2 tested. Everything else will be fine. You can find it in the #development channel if you scroll up a bit

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

Wii and WiiU controllers are one and the same as far as pairing goes. Wii U Pro is fine

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

It's done, there's a pre-release on my discord server. Just waiting for confirmation that my patches for pairing Wii/WiiU and XBE2 controllers are working correctly. If you've got any of those you can help speed things along

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

For future reference, the FAQ is a thing. There is info on controller firmwares and downgrading here https://github.com/ndeadly/MissionControl?tab=readme-ov-file#frequently-asked-questions I also made a tool recently for detecting the controller type and firmware via USB. The readme of the repo...

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

It's being taken into consideration as part of an ongoing code refactor, I'm just spread a bit thin at the moment across the various aspects of the project to work on. Work on Bluetooth LE support is taking priority.

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is normal. Official switch controllers will also automatically try to reconnect when you hit the face buttons, which makes it a little less obvious the controller was disconnected vs. having to explicitly hit the PS button on Sony controllers. And yeah, you don't want...

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

If the game pulls up the player select screen, I believe the normal behaviour is to disconnect all controllers. The order of connection is then used to determine the player number. Joycons connected to the console in handheld mode will be unaffected by this, which could be why you haven't...

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

I think currently your best bet would be to make a custom build that omits the PS button mapping. It's too intrusive to include checks for settings to disable arbitrary buttons. There is some ongoing work on individualised controller settings/mappings that will allow you to do this kind of thing...

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

Considering that sysmodule's sole purpose is to disconnect controllers after a set amount of time, I'd say it's fairly likely it's responsible for disconnecting your controllers (after some amount of time :p) Not exactly sure what you mean. You want the button to only trigger if pressed for a...

Homebrew RELEASE MissionControl: Use controllers from other consoles natively via Bluetooth

Have you considered not pressing it? :p Seriously though, what's the issue? The controller shouldn't be taking screenshots unless you're pressing the touchpad button. I even added "guard regions" to the outer edges to avoid accidentally triggering capture when going for the +/- buttons. There is...

Hacking Homebrew app nx-btred: Bluetooth audio

This was released when 12.x.x was the current firmware. It's obsolete now that Nintendo released their own implementation.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
