Hacking Homebrew ROM Hack Tutorial Wii U has no video signal, and no game pad synced - How I fixed it.

Well, it was booting twice. It would go through the DVD check twice. It only does one DVD check now. Yes, it was unsynced, and it was the buyer who unsynced it. When I factory reset it, I went through the setup process and made a Mii called 'owner'. I do that with any Wii's WiiU's I sell. So...

Hacking Homebrew ROM Hack Tutorial Wii U has no video signal, and no game pad synced - How I fixed it.

I talked to the buyer, and the reason the gamepad wasn't synced was because she couldn't get the gamepad to detect the WiiU, because it wasn't booting right, so she pressed the sync buttons. (This was an un-modded Wii U.) The only thing I can figure is that "I" factory reset it, then turned it...

Hardware Wii U turns ON but no video

My issue was that my Wii U wasn't even booting far enough to turn on a video signal through hdmi or RGB. I don't know how it fixed it, it just did. Once I booted to the SDCard, the video signal started working again, and I was able to fix the console using the UDPIH method. I was operating...

Hacking Homebrew ROM Hack Tutorial Wii U has no video signal, and no game pad synced - How I fixed it.

Yes, but there is no mention there of 'no video signal' or 'bad battery'. That is why I re-posted with this title. So people would find this when googling "no video signal wii u" If the OP of that post wants to mention this in his original post, then we can merge it all in one.

Hardware Wii U turns ON but no video

Hey guys, I figured I'd put this here, for anyone else that googled. Make sure you have a fresh battery in your Wii U, and then follow this. https://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-u-has-no-video-signal-and-no-game-pad-synced-how-i-fixed-it.646731/

Broken Wii U with blue light and no video

Did you try changing the battery? A dead battery will prevent this method from working. I fixed mine with the exact same issue as you, but my battery was also dead. https://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-u-has-no-video-signal-and-no-game-pad-synced-how-i-fixed-it.646731/

Hacking Homebrew ROM Hack Tutorial Wii U has no video signal, and no game pad synced - How I fixed it.

Recently I had a Wii U that I was selling (I'v got 4 of them,) and the buyer got back to me right away, and said I sold him a brick. I was like "No I didn't. It worked fine a couple months ago, before I put in storage for sale." Long story short, I gave the buyer a different one, and took this...

Hacking Best way to crack this XBox 360 specifically?

I've never cracked a 360 before, and I can't make heads or tails of all the 'turorials' out there that are out dated, or bogus, or malicious, or just down right wrong. Can anyone direct me to a modern, legitimate way to crack THIS 360 I got for $12 at a Salvation Army?

Original XBox Soft Modding TIP for formatting USB thumb to be an XBox Memory Unit.

My problem was, that didn't work, because it doesn't do a full format. It ends up creating two parallel partition tables on your USB. One seen by your XBox, and the other seen by your PC. The full format is the key.

Cleaned it all off. With how bad it was, I don't think it would have lasted much longer...

I worry that since the caps exploded, it wasn't the adaptors, but the PSU.

Choosing a bios for soft modded Original XBox...

Thank you, that was very helpful. I have two of these original XBox. One is a V1.6 Mother Board, the other is a V1.0. I managed to put an ADATA 480GB SSD in the V1.6 with an adaptor I had several of. Since the newest build of the soft mod tools supports Partition tables, it was breeze, and now...

Choosing a bios for soft modded Original XBox...

Can you install a custom bios on a soft modded xbox? If so, how do you know which one to use. Where do I get said bios. What tool do I use? I already have the custom dashboard, but I want to install a 500GB HD, and I can't do that with a stock bios. Thanks.

Original XBox Soft Modding TIP for formatting USB thumb to be an XBox Memory Unit.

Well, I FINALLY got my Original XBox soft modded. 20+ years of chats and forum posts, and 'tutorials', that all just said "This works", when it doesn't ever mention the ACTUALL solution for formatting your memory card. So I thought I would post it here, so people don't have to go through the...

Soft Modding Original Xbox - Anyone alive who still knows how these hacks were made?

No, doesn't show up. However the action replay driver isn't designed for 64bit, so I'll try it out on the XP machine. Also, I found this link, which describes how to add your USB as 'device' of action replay...

Soft Modding Original Xbox - Anyone alive who still knows how these hacks were made?

The action replay software has a special Xbox Mem Card to USB device, with a driver file. I just have a regular USB key that I plug into the controller slot on the xbox. Is there a setting in Action Replay that allows you to specify a USB port?
