I SOLVED IT
Posting this here in case anyone else comes across the same problem. Turns out that my system wasn't connecting to the internet properly. I connected to different wifi (that connected way faster) and did a CTRTransfer, Updated Luma, and went through the "Finalizing setup" again...
Ok well I managed to get the system to do a system update by connecting to a different network. I went through all of the steps for a CTRTransfer again but whenever I try and transfer the tickets, 3 or so get stuck on a "0xD8E086B" Error type -7. The system now shows that it is up to date but...
Just tried region changing via https://3ds.hacks.guide/region-changing.html with the TWL-Fix before update as well as a region change with an update before a TWL-Fix and got the same error each time trying to do the system update.
EDIT: Just discovered that system also blackscreens when going...
I uninstalled via the TWL-FIX but I can't system update in the settings, it errors out every time. Is there an actually twilight uninstaller that can be used? I haven't managed to find anything other than TWLFix.

The problem with Stadia in Canada (and I would assume some states also) is internet caps. I already get very close to my monthly internet cap and that's without streaming stuff all day every day.
Spelunky is a good and obvious one. I've also gotten re-addicted to FTL with a bunch of the "Captain's Edition" mods, and it is very easy to play with a trackpad.
If I remember correctly you can play Rockband 2 with just the wiimote, so I think the Beatles Rockband would work the same. Also you just need ANY USB microphone to do the singing portion, doesn't need to be one even designed to work on the Wii.

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
