NeoDS Converter "sfix.sfx" file not found?
Perhaps in the case of the SD slot of a DSi, but normally it is not necessary for DS phat/lite. Rather, it is advisable to use a RAM expansion cartridge in slot-2 (e.g., a Supercard SD with 32mb RAM) to avoid slowdowns or even game crashes.- Nikokaro

PC-98 translations updates (2023)
I suppose so. NP2 for PSP is an old, outdated version, so it is often incompatible and disappointing. On recent versions of NP2 for other devices it should work; just try it, and you'll see.- Nikokaro
