    Thanks for the response! I think I finally got it! Converted the psx copy using the second game id suggested in the eboot post comments on cdromance. Phew! Running great now! Sorry to have bugged. Appreciate all these posts!

    Tried that too. First race still unplayable. :(( I've seen this intro cutscene so much its burned into my retinas i think. lol

    Maybe I'm just a dummy and don't understand psx2psp. I used the latest/bottom of the list version. 6.60.

    Been following your posts about this. I've tried everything. I'm playing on a PSP 3000. I've tried different pops versions. Tried converting with psx2psp with the game id suggested. Any suggestions? Or link to working eboot file for PSP?
