    Oldies Save Request: Starcraft 64

That did the trick. I deleted the old save, added the new one, booted up the game as normal, and the cheats are all there. Thanks much for your help!

    Oldies Save Request: Starcraft 64

Yep, it's all there except those last two cheats; thanks much. The file's dated March 27th, so I guess that's the last time the file was written to the SD card for whatever reason.

    Oldies Save Request: Starcraft 64

Best of luck. If you still end up having trouble, I don't mind just using the file with those last two cheats missing. Based on your description, sounds like the other six cheats would make getting the rest a lot easier anyway.

    Oldies Save Request: Starcraft 64

Normally, the Everdrive retains the data for the most recent game you played in its onboard memory, including its save data. So on the X7, all you would need to do is play a different game, and the previous game's save (in this case, StarCraft) would be written to the SD card and replaced with...

    Oldies Save Request: Starcraft 64

You can upload it to any standard filehosting service like Google Drive or Dropbox and share that way, or (more simply) you can use the attach file button here on GBATemp when posting a new reply. It should be in the bottom right of the little reply window at the bottom of this thread.

    Oldies Save Request: Starcraft 64

If you can host both the Everdrive and PJ64 files somewhere, I can take a look at them at least. Maybe by using the "All stages clear" codes, the cheats can be tricked into unlocking sooner.

    Oldies Save Request: Starcraft 64

Was wondering if anyone had a complete save for Starcraft 64, with every stage completed and all cheats unlocked? I've been trying to stock my Everdrive 64 with a set of fully-completed cartridge saves, with all their secret modes and features unlocked, either by finding them online or playing...

Emulation Converting NGF files for use on Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection?

I recently got my hands on NGPC Selection and was wondering if anyone had figured out a way to convert the NGF save files used in most NGPC emulators to the BINs required for the compilation. I know each game has its own individual save file, and that the BIN is compatible with both the Switch...

Twilight Menu++ NGPDS no longer functioning

I've been having trouble with playing NGPC games through NGPDS on Twilight Menu++. It originally worked just fine, but now every time I try to load a NGPC game now, I only see the interface for a split second before the top screen turns solid red, while the bottom screen turns blue with the...

Issues with Star Fox 64 3D save injection

I'm talking about the unlockables that comes with game progress, such as the alternate title screen for getting all gold medals. I never said anything about DLC. And I'm using the same injection process I used for every other game: I backed up my original save with Checkpoint, I created a new...

Issues with Star Fox 64 3D save injection

What are you talking about? No DLC was ever released for Star Fox 64 3D.

Issues with Star Fox 64 3D save injection

Thank you for being supremely unhelpful. There is no DLC for the game, nor any updates. This is purely for a base game save from the same region.

Issues with Star Fox 64 3D save injection

I recently injected a handful of 100% saves for some of my games via Checkpoint, with no issues as far as I can tell. The one exception, however, is Star Fox 64 3D. I've made attempts using three different "complete" files, but each time, none of the unlockables that should be appearing are...

Hacking Oldies Request: Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetals [N64] - Playable Megatron X

Okay, this is going to require a little bit of explanation, but I want to make sure I have all the facts written down to help anyone who might want to try taking this on. In "Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetals", if you finish arcade mode without using a continue, you fight a secret opponent...

PS Plus games for August announced; Yakuza series joining game catalog by end of year

Tony Hawk is nice, but I can't help but feel like PS+ has been steadily on the decline in its offerings. I've been a subscriber for the last 12 years, and I miss the highs of getting both newer games and PS1 classics back in the day.

Games with Gold for August 2022 announced

Dang, literally just bought SR2 and the DLC a few months ago when it was on sale for dirt cheap. Nice that more people get to enjoy the game, though. Hope that fixed PC version makes it out eventually.

The Sonic Triple Trouble 16-bit fan remake has been released

Sega's not going to take it down. They've always been cool with fan projects as long as they're not for profit, and they've said as much. On that note, I've been looking forward to this for years, and it's great to see it finally finished. Gonna set aside some time to play it tonight.

Should Sonic Origins have included Knuckles Chaotix?

It'd be interesting, but I don't think it quite fits the scope of what the collection was always intended to be. That said, I will forever be a little salty that it apparently had to be cut from Gems Collection back in the day. Oh, what could have been...

    Howdy, folks

Been a infrequent lurker for a longtime, and figured now was as good a time as any to actually make an account. I was practically born with a controller in hand, and I have a particular affection for the N64. In fact, I own nearly the entire North American library, save for three games. (Sadly...

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
